Our Story
Our journey began in 2008, when Jacob Vasquez faced an unexpected layoff during the economic downturn. Rather than let that setback define him, he turned his years of experience and determination into a new opportunity — founding Jacob Vasquez Remodeling.
With a focus on honest work, precise craftsmanship, and genuine customer care, Jacob built a trusted name in his community. Over time, his commitment to doing things the right way earned the loyalty of countless homeowners across Minnesota.
In 2021, Jacob’s son Anthony Vasquez-Gomez joined the company, bringing fresh vision, modern building techniques, and a shared commitment to excellence. Together, they transformed the family business into Great Lakes Construction, expanding their services in roofing, siding, and general contracting while keeping the same family-driven values at the heart of everything they do.
